The MSc Advanced Architectural Studies has been running at The Bartlett, University College London since the mid 1970s. To celebrate its 40th birthday the current course team are holding an alumni social event on the 2nd and 3rd September 2013. All previous alumni and ‘friends’ – for example PhD students, colleagues, guest speakers – are cordially invited.
Many of you have already been contacted but please pass the message on where you can because it has not been possible to get in touch will everyone – especially those students from the ‘pre-digital’ era.
There will be an introductory event at Space Syntax Limited on the evening of Monday, 2nd September and a walking tour in London on Tuesday. The main event will take place on UCL’s Bloomsbury campus from late afternoon into the evening of 3rd September at a venue tbc.

The theme of the evening is to encourage discussion among different generations of the MSc AAS course focused on the achievements and challenges of the approach to architecture and urbanism it has pioneered. A number of invited speakers will address this theme. In addition a range of student work will be showcased and several prizes awarded.
